St Pancras station is one of the easiest train stations to get to in Europe with 6 underground lines and mainlines. St Pancras International station is located in central London, with easy reach to Canary Wharf and the West End. It is a highlight of London and the station has beautiful construction with the roof being the main eye catcher; graceful curves and light pouring through the top panels give a bright cheerful atmosphere within the station. It stands on Euston Road in St Pancras, in the London Borough of Camden, directly opposite to Kings Cross Station. The complex was completely renovated and expanded from 2000 – 2010, at a  cost of £800 million where after the Queen herself attended the ceremony. It has been completely restored and has 15 platforms, a shopping centre and a bus station, the station is served by London Underground.

A pedestrian subway was built during the station extension. St Pancras subway runs under Pancras Road from the eastern entrance of the domestic concourse to the new northern ticket hall of King’s Cross St. Pancras tube station.

Truly a site to behold, give it a try for your next journey through Europe, train travel is a fun way to travel and a great experience for the family.

My family takes one every spring as we head out from cold Northern Minnesota and usually make our way across the western states to visit National Monuments and find exciting new places to stay and things to see. City Creek Center is the first indoor destination in Salt Lake City as compelling as the majesty of Utah’s world-renown outdoor lifestyle of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and mountaineering. It features a retractable roof, an indoor creek, a pedestrian skybridge.

And you’re familiar with the Bellagio water fountain show in Las Vegas, aren’t you? What does Salt Lake City have to do with that?

Well, City Creek Center will have two 18 foot waterfalls, and three fountains developed by WET, the same designers who created the Bellagio fountains in Vegas! Here’s a place you can visit all indoors, all winter, without slipping on ice or ruining your shoes with salt because of a heated snow melt system.

City Creek Center is built on the site of two former shopping malls. They’ve got a pretty aggressive sustainability program — more than 80 percent of its materials recycled and reused from the previous structures. (As I shop I’ll be congratulating myself for saving the planet, LOL.)

Last but not least, City Creek Center will have a great mix of stores. Anchored by Nordstrom and Macy’s, approximately 80 stores and restaurants populate the center, a third of them completely new to Salt Lake.

Opening March 22, 2012, City Creek Center will be Utah’s newest retail and dining destination covering two downtown city blocks with a tempting mix of stores and restaurants. Can’t wait to see it for myself.
